It's been awhile for me to update about this trip so LET'S GO!!
Osaka Castle is a Japanese castle in Chūō-ku, Osaka, Japan. The castle is one of Japan's most famous landmarks and it played a major role in the unification of Japan during the sixteenth century of the Azuchi-Momoyama period.
The castle tower is surrounded by secondary citadels, gates, turrets, impressive stone walls and moats. The Nishinomaru Garden, encompassing the former "western citadel", is a lawn garden with 600 cherry trees, a tea house, the former Osaka Guest House and nice views of the castle tower from below. Unlike most of the rest of the castle grounds, the garden requires an admission fee.
REALLY huge stone..I wonder how they move it! |
seriously? uncivilized China citizen |
I wish there are still cherry blossom but too bad it's summer already =( do visit during February-April for cherry blossom |
One of Japan's most spectacular aquariums. It introduces various forms of life inhabiting the Pacific Rim in a well-organized and impressive way. I was so excited to visit Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan because I like underworld. I find sea creatures are so cute yet mysterious, free and easy swim here and there. 自由自在没烦恼。Too bad we didn't manage to watch shark feeding session.
so windy I almost fly away...typhoon is coming >.< |
Shinsaibashi & Dotonbori Street
Shinsaibashi is Osaka busiest shopping paradise and entertainment area is another place not to be missed while Dotonbori is the home of 'Kuidaore' with various eateries of its famous food and other traditional Japanese foods. At night it is lit by hundreds of neon lights and merchandized signs, including the famous Glico Running Man sign Kani Doraku Crab sign. These two streets are next to each other and you will see non-stop crowd around that area.
Till next post! =)
Teleport to Day 2 post here.
